Our Story

Cedele (say “suh-deli”; the "Ce" is short for the founders' initial) is an artisanal food and beverage chain of bakeries, quick service cafés, fast casual dining concepts and full service restaurants islandwide offering a wide selection of soulful breads, cakes, sandwiches, soups, salads, and more. 

Founded in 1997 with a passion for cooking and baking using only fresh and natural ingredients, Cedele was also the first in Singapore to introduce superfoods into your everyday meals, and is also a local favourite choice for festive seasonal food that's packed with the goodness of bold and authentic flavours! In the early days of incorporating Cedele, the brand found itself scattered with bakeries throughout the various Singaporean neighbourhood offering run-of-the-mill items, and it took the founders’ vision to see the potential of making bread a lifestyle concept, presenting unique selections and sleek outlet stores that revolutionised the food and beverage industry to what it is today.

Cedele's emphasis on the care they put into their menu and the overall wellbeing of their customers has led them to design their menus to be inclusive and offering options to cater to different dietary needs.

What We Do

At the heart of Cedele, we remained rooted in the same belief we were founded upon: strive to uphold the ethos “Eat Well • Be Well”. We believe that besides physical nourishment, the food you eat also affects your whole well-being.

To serve food that is honest and wholesome, we take extra care to select the freshest natural ingredients to craft our menu, giving you peace of mind as you dine.

Our baked goods are sweetened with organic unrefined sugar. We do not use artificially-processed ingredients such as food colouring, improvers or premixes. We also thicken our soups naturally with vegetables.

Be spoilt for choice as our range of bread, cakes, sandwiches, salads and soups can satisfy even the most picky eaters.
